The shooting for Namitha starrer movie Jagan Mohini has been started. Namitha plays the title role in the movie. The shoot started at Ramanaidu cine village in Hyderabad the other day. The film is a remake of the yesteryear hit film Jagan Mohini in which Jayamalini played the title role now enacted by sexy siren Namitha . Narasimha Raju role is now being played by hero Raja and Meera Chopra is playing the second heroine in the film.

Ilayaraja has composed the music for the original version and he is scoring the music for this film too. NK Viswanathan is the director and H Murli is the producer. Narasimha Raju is playing the role of Raja's father. The director is trying to rope in Jayamalini to play the role of Namitha's mother.

The climax will be shot in the picturesque islands of Andaman and Nicobar. The film is expected to be completed by December and may hit the screens in January 2009. We are waiting for you Namitha!!
