Namitha Signs A Voluptuous Deal

Namitha has bagged a voluptuous deal. Namitha, the top glamour-pussy of Tamil film industry, has won a record payment to appear in the upcoming mallu movie The Black Stallion. Kalabhavan Mani will play the hero in the movie.

Namitha first grabbed people's attention with Engal Anna opposite Vijayakanth and did well earlier this year with Billa. She is currently filming four films, including three opposite popular actor Sundar C - Idi, Thee and Perumal. Namitha is known for her tall and voluptuous figure - she is an amazing six foot tall.

Namitha is very professional when it comes to acting. For the upcoming movie Jaganmohini, she plays the role of a pearl diver and so she has been spending time in the Andaman Islands learning how to scuba dive, so that her action sequences in the film are authentic.

Namitha's fans are so overwhelmed by her that they want to build three temples in her honour so she can be worshipped publicly. This is - to say the least - a fairly strange situation. How does Namitha feel about it? "There is a proposal to build three temples for me in Tamilnadu," she says, "My admirers who want my well being come to me daily with such requests. I don’t know what answer I can give them. I find it hard to say yes. However, I have decided not to disappoint them and to let them go ahead."

Namitha Turns Into A Ghost

In Tamil Movie Jaganmohini the sex goddess of south, Namitha plays a ghost. She will not be the stereotype, revenge seeking ghost but a lovable, sweet spirit who comes back to earth to take revenge. Namitha comes back as a spirit as she cannot forget her lover - a Prince played by Raja. The film is an adaptation of a 1978-Jayamalini hit, though several changes have been made in the storyline.

In Jaganmohini Raja plays a Prince who falls in love with a girl ( Namitha) who collects pearls from the sea. But she is killed by his enemies and now he is going to marry another princess ( Nila) when the spirit of his lover comes back to stop the wedding.

Illayaraja has composed the music for 6 songs and Namitha is looking her glamourous best in the scenes. The movie has been shot in the Golconda Fort and the Thirumalai Naicker Palace. Namitha’s introduction scene as a ghost will see her rising from the ocean. The scene will be shot at the Andamans next month, and in a new venture, it will be shot under water completely, facilitated by special equipment flown in from Mumbai.

For Nami, this underwater scene is very challenging. Though she will have an oxygen mask when under water, she will have to get rid of it when the shoot happens. Fighting breathlessness is sure a new test for the glam queen. Kota Srinivasa Rao plays a mantravadi in a surprise climax which promises something different according to the filmmakers.

And with the Namitha in her voluptuous best, there’s no room for competition with this mohini! Jothilakshmi plays Namitha’s mum and the director says that almost 40 percent of the movie completed, and it is slated for a December release. Nami will be at her best says director, NK Viswanathan. He adds: “Though Namitha was initially hesitant about doing the role, she enquired about her character’s portrayal, and how she would be looking as a ghost. When explained, she was completely awed and immediately agreed”

Namitha In Politics !!

Well in reel life. Sree Movie Makers’ Thee starring Sundar C, Namitha and Ragini is making news and this time it’s not just because of the sparks between the sexy Namitha and the hero.
Sundar C plays a dual role, that of a cop and a politician. I a scene he plays in a full nude scene! Sundar, the director turned full time actor says, ‘It’s a story of a man who comes with nothing to Chennai. So they decided to let the character come literally with nothing, not even his clothes. But in two months time he becomes a big politician.’
The shots were taken in very crowded areas of the city like the Central station area, Vadapalani etc. Sundar is upbeat that he gets to play two roles, each in a different get up in this film. He said: ‘I am confident that Thee will do very well because it’s a remake of Operation Duryodhana, the hit Telugu version.’
Ragini plays a homely character as Sundar’s wife with two kids in flashback scenes while Namitha plays a politician. In real life, Ragini is a relative of Sundar’s wife Khusboo and is happy to be doing her second film after Sandai.

Namitha And Black Stallion

Namitha, sex goddess and siren of South India, will reportedly heat the malayalam movie industry now. Namitha is supposed to star in a lead role in a Malayalam. The film is titled Black Stallion and is directed by Pramod Pappan and produced by Jagadheesh Chandran under the banner of Kichu films. The script is by Rajesh Jayaraman.

Kalabhavan Mani is the hero and Bala is in supporting role. The film is expected to start shooting by the second week of October. Namitha's fee is rumoured to be Rs.25 lakhs, the highest-ever for a Mollywood heroine.

Namitha Goes On Diet

Namitha, the busty babe of the South, was rather slimmer when she came into films. Reportedly, the tall and ravishing beauty is trying to regain that shape through strict diet and yoga. This shapely sexy beauty believes in maintaining her curves through diet and exercise.
